Snow blowers, DTV

It's Saturday and I am trying to be productive. This blog is actually part of that productivity, but lets focus on the rest of the day.
Every year there is that one day when it snows a ton, I walk to the garage, grab the snow blower and try to start it. Every time I do this, I am met with mechanical resitance and if engines could, mockery. I pull, yank and tug and nothing. A couple of years ago, I read up that if fuel sits until the next season of use, it is pretty much useless. So no matter how much you try, you will not be doing any snow blowing. It was that year that I dismantled it, unhooked the fuel lines and drained the gas. I refilled it with some freshly mixed goth ecto green colored 40:1 gas mixture. I gave it a pull and sure enough, it started. On the downside, there were only a few weeks left of winter. You would think I emptied the fuel after winter to prevent the problem again, but no. And so here I am trying to warm up my snow blower for the impending winter, and there is old fuel. I drained it and poured a new mixture, but no dice. I think there might be some residual bad gas in the fuel line maybe, but I decided to let it site for awhile. So that makes me 0/1.
DTV is awesome. I don't watch much TV, but when I do, DTV will suffice. It has the basic over-the-air tv channels and then some. Haven't you always wanted to see WGN in spanish? Besides, cable is expensive and I am already paying 130/month for three different ISPs. With godsends like Hulu, watch on demand Netflix, other streaming websites and DTV, you really don't need cable. Anywho, back to the point. I have been loving my DTV, but I got hosed by the DTV coupon people. For those of you who don't know, a DTV converter box is needed for old TVs that do not have built in converter boxes. All my flat screens have them, so I am willing to venture and say that if you have a flat screen, it probably has a built in DTV converter. If you don't, a converter box costs 50-60 bucks, but the government will send you two 40 dollar instant rebate cards per household. I ordered mine after I bought my first converter box, they came, got lost in all my paperwork and expired! After they expire, the government rebate dept. does not care, they will not be logical and just resend them. So I held off on buying more converters until I saw two on ebay for about 35 or 40 and I bought those. It was then that I learned that my flat screens have built in converters, so I decided one would be for my grams, the other for my mom, both of which are still rocking tube TVs. This was weeks ago, and finally today I plan on setting up my grandma with hers. Great story, I know. But if you wanted to get some info on DTV, then you didn't waste a few minutes of your life.
Lastly, I need to do a bunch of website stuff. The bar website needs some work, my resume(although I am gainfully employed) needs to be put together just in case this economy bends me over, and I need to post that on stevekrzysiak.com. I need to check the status of another domain I am buying, configure mulvous.com for a friend, post my Buscum Ducis blog on this site, etc. Basically, I have the day to myself so I should in theory get these things done. However, Ryan just called, he wants to go to a bar and watch some college football(which I hate) and throw some darts(which I am incredibly unskilled at). So who knows, that is the least logical route, but then again no one behaves logically.
